I just released the WordPress Friends Plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/friends/ version 2.6.0. Biggest change: no local user will be created anymore when just following someone (via RSS, Mastodon, etc.). Other improvements include an improved status view on your local friends page, share posts on your friends page and more.
