I just released the WordPress Friends Plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/friends/ version 2.6.0. Biggest change: no local user will be created anymore when just following someone (via RSS, Mastodon, etc.). Other improvements include an improved status view on your local friends page, share posts on your friends page and more. @christopher hat einen sehr interessanten Talk beim WordCamp Karlsruhe über Vor-Konfiguration von WordPress per wp-cli gehalten! Ich habe einige der Beispiele in die Playground Step Library eingearbeitet (insbesondere die Möglichkeit mehrere Optionen in einem Step zu setzen (damit man ihn dann als Ganzes speichern kann) und die Uncategorized Kategorie umzubenennen). Im Screenshot sind die gelben Schritte lokal gespeicherte Schritte (per “Save Step”), sodass man sie für eigene Playground Blueprints schnell zur Verfügung hat.

@simon Ich glaub der https://kraft.press Feed ist irgendwie kaputt. In PocketCasts gibts den Beitrag aber die Audio-Datei ist ein 404, im Feed https://feed.kraut.press/en/ ist er nicht drin. Über den Website-Beitrag kann man ihn hören.

@jimniels My WordPress plugin Friends can do this together with my other plugin Send to E-reader. When a new article arrives in an RSS feed it would send an email with the ePub of the article that includes it’s images. I also have another plugin for it called Post Collection which can download the articles images to the WordPress media library and rewrite the html so that if that article goes offline some day. That’s not fully offline though, it’d just all be inside your WordPress install.

@cutterkom@mastodon.social @eay @pfefferle Die erste Zeile des Beitrags wird als Titel verwendet, allerdings in der aktuellen Version nur wenn bei App im WordPress Backend als Post-Format “Standard” angewählt ist. Das werden wir in der nächsten Version ändern, sodass das mit dem Erste Zeile = Titel immer funktioniert.
