# Bandnews

Bandnews was created to be able to keep up to date with the news from your favorite
bands. We created it at a time when there hardly was RSS and band websites were 
of the worst quality because most of them couldn’t afford a web designer. I wrote
a bot that crawled band websites and their news pages and extracted the news item
and provided you with your own news page, with just the bands you are interested
in.
