 * In case you need to record local sound on a Mac, this guide shows how https://
   www.avtouchbar.com/blackhole-m1-macs/ (no need for Audacity, though, you can 
   just use the integrated recording function of macOs with ⌘⇧5 and select the “
   BlackHole 2ch” microphone under Options)
